Active Broomfield - competitive sport
As well as taking part in PE, sports, games, movement and other physical activities on- and off-site, Broomfield pupils also represent the school in a range of competitive events across Yorkshire.
Boccia is a great sport. Over the past year, Broomfield students have taken part in a range of events.
Track and field events are really popular with Broomfield students.
Table cricket is another popular sport, which requires good hand/eye co-ordination.
Hockey is a sport that is open to all.
Football is always a favourite, and helps to develop team qualities.
Celebrating achievements is always a fitting finale to the day. These photos celebrate The Panathlon Games and The West Yorkshire Games.

Pupils from the Secondary Department were selected to take part in the Junior Warrior event at Bramham Park. The event was a tough obstacle course with lots of mud and water. Pupils had to wade through mud, climb slippery mounds, walk through a muddy stream with water that went over their knees, shuffle though tunnels, jump into a skip full of water and slide down a water slide.
Pupils had a fantastic time getting wet and muddy, so did the staff! Everyone completed the course and received a medal at the end!
